Wednesday night at 8:45, I will have arrived at the halfway mark in my dual MBA/MSCF program, with exactly as many minis left to go as I have completed. I have to say when you weight for workload, I certainly hope I am more than halfway done; and that when December rolls around and brings an end to my MSCF coursework, that the spring and summer will be all downhill. But, we shall see.
I've got so many little plans for the spring and summer. In February, I want to go see the groundhog
come out at Gobbler's Knob in Punxsutawny. In mini 4, I want to go on the Tepper Management Study Abroad program in Koblenz, Germany. I want to go to the opera, ballet, theater, I want to go camping, I want to go to Chicago, Cleveland, Cincinatti, Philly, I want to take some classes outside Tepper, maybe even a class at Pitt law school (which is totally possible), I went to be a regular at the hockey games and baseball games and maybe fork out the big bucks for a Steelers game. In fact, if you've got some ideas for "Rachel's Spring and Summer o' Fun 2007", please post a comment for me - I'm open to anything.
Good thing is, even before MSCF is over, I've got some fun weekends on the horizon. This weekend, I'll be back home in Austin for my 10-year high school reunion, the following weekend I'm working on a recruiting trip to Chicago, where I hope to reconnect with some of my favorite Deutsche Bank London interns, then I'm off to St. Louis for the National Association of Women MBAs conference, and then the weekend after that is my D.C. engagement party/early wedding celebration to fiance and long-time steady Jonathan - woo hoo! I'll see about turning this into a travelblog...

Rachel, Groundhog Day is crazy, it is going to be a blast this year. Here are some ideas for fun. Brazil + February equals Carnvial. Don't forget about Greece in May/June and of course Vegas for the MBA World Series of Poker in January.

Your nickname is Super Woman, lol. Rachel you are making it happen some-way, some-how but it will be done. I hope to have the drive and ambition you have when I enter school. I admire you because you take on alot but you still make time to participate in school and community events. I didn't think I would have a chance to meet you during the Women in MBA event or get a response from my emails but you did respond, and show up, and you even remembered my name. I know its such a small thing but I was touched. I went back to NY like I wasn't just a face in the crowd, they remembered my name lol. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, lol
Any how, Keep posting because I am read :)

Rachel and John,
Groundhog day is a must-have experience while you're living in PA! Each year the PA Tourism office launches a really cool web site to promote the event. Check out: www.groundhog202.com and www.groundhogchase.com. It's been fun following your blogs and getting an inside look at Tepper!
