I mentioned that I am worn out last week. Ok, I still am, and now add complete, frenzied stress to my list of new moods. I had midterms on Friday and Saturday, and I look forward to Monday when my last mid-term is complete. Actually, I should be studying for my Financial Accounting midterm instead of journaling my life. Oh well, I needed a break from the books.
My mood is so *not* sunny and perky (which is my usual protocol); I am just robotically making it through each day. Even the mood of my class has changed. We’ve all got bad attitudes this week. Well, I assume that our negative attitude results from lack of sleep and lack of nutritious food. We are keeping the pizza places running back and forth to Posner Hall.
Think about it, while we are attempting to take midterms, we also have assignments due in each of our classes, and they are team projects!! We are in team meetings at night, and lament over the fact that we feel we should be studying for midterms instead.
Well, I guess you could consider homework and casework as a form of studying. Too bad we are on different teams in each class! So, you stay up with your team until 2 a.m., and then you run home take a nap, and wake up before morning 8:30 a.m. classes to study a bit.
That is the beauty of taking classes from experts in the field of study. Their enthusiasm can be contagious. They love their area of specialty, and attempt to teach us not only the knowledge and information, but to also share the love and joy of the field of study through midterms, homework, cases, and quizzes.
The de facto social stepper resigns …seriously, me….the de facto social one in my class—have not gone to any social events for the past two weeks. How dull is that? I had to prioritize. I am a student first . Argh! Did I seriously say that?
Wish me luck on the Monday’s exam.
